Allison Pinkerton’s work has appeared in The Normal School, Passages North, Image, Mississippi Review, and elsewhere. In 2019, she received a “Distinguished Story” mention from Best American Short Stories. Her chapbook, DM Me If You Want to #Repent, was a finalist in contests from Gold Line Press, Black Lawrence Press, and Quarterly West. Allison was awarded the 2017 Kathy Fish Fellowship from SmokeLong Quarterly.
She holds a Masters of Fine Arts from the University of Central Florida, where she currently teaches composition. She specializes in short form fiction that explores the complex inner landscape of religion, gender, and spirituality.
